Creating a desktop icon for windows apps
To create a desktop shortcut icon for Tobii Dynavox Windows Apps software such as snap + Core first in Windows 10:
Option 1:
- Click on the start menu
- Find the app you are wanting to create a desktop shortcut
- Click and drag the software to your desktop
OR
Option 2:
- Press the Win key + R
- Type shell:AppsFolder
- Find the app that you wish to create a desktop shortcut icon for, right click it
- Choose Create Shortcut. You will be prompted that the shortcut cannot be placed here and it will recommend adding it to the desktop. Click Yes
