How do I add my My Own Voice (MOV) to TD Snap

Overview

This article explains how to add your Acapela My Own Voice (MOV) voice to TD Snap.

Before you begin, make sure you have an active Acapela My Own Voice account. A trial account or a paid account can be used with TD Snap.

Before adding your voice to TD Snap, ensure that:

You have an Acapela My Own Voice account.
You know the email address and password associated with your Acapela My Own Voice account.
Your device is connected to the internet.
TD Snap is installed on your device.

Open TD Snap.
Select the Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the screen (see Figure 1).

Select the User tab.
Select the blue arrow to the right of the currently selected voice (see Figure 2).

Select Additional Voices in the upper-right corner.
Select Acapela My Own Voice Log-In.
Enter the Username and password associated with your Acapela My Own Voice account.
Select Log In (see Figure 3).

Return to the Speaking Voice screen.
Locate your My Own Voice in the Acapela my-own-voice section (see Figure 4).

After the voice finishes downloading:

When the installation is complete, the voice appears in the Installed Voices section and is available for use in TD Snap.

If your My Own Voice does not appear in the Installed Voices section:

Confirm that you successfully signed in to your Acapela My Own Voice account.
Verify that the device has an active internet connection.
Fully close and reopen TD Snap.
Allow additional time for the voice download to complete before checking the Installed Voices section.
