How do I switch between modes on the Speech Case?

There are several modes available to choose from: touch, scanning, shipping and firmware.
Touch

1. If device is currently connected to an iPad, enter Bluetooth settings and forget device.
2. On the speech case, press and hold both volume up and volume down for 10 seconds and then release.
3. The speech case will then enter a reset mode for 8 second and then state “power on” followed by a series of audible “beeps”
4.  2 beeps will indicate the device has entered Touch mode

Scanning

1. If device is currently connected to an iPad, enter Bluetooth settings and forget device.
2. Connect a switch to switch port one on the speech case (this is the port closest to the top).
3. On the speech case, press and hold both volume up and volume down for 10 seconds and then release and then press the switch and hold. You will hear “Power On”, then 4 beeps. You can let go of the switch.
4. The speech case will then enter a reset mode for 8 second then state “power on” followed by a series of audible “beeps”.
5. 4 beeps indicates the device has entered Scan mode.

Firmware

1. If device is currently connected to an iPad, enter Bluetooth settings and forget device.
2. On the speech case, press and hold both volume up and volume down for 10 seconds and then release.
3. The device will no longer be displayed on the iPad as a connection option.
4. Hold down the volume up button until you hear 3 oscillating beeps.

Shipping

1. If device is currently connected to an iPad, enter Bluetooth settings and forget device.
2. On the speech case, press and hold both volume up and volume down for 10 seconds and then release.
3. Hold the Volume down button on the speech case to enter a reset mode for 8 seconds.  When it states “power on”, continue to hold until you hear “power off”
